Tips to Beat the Casino Slots

Don't be fooled

By now you probably have seen tons of youtube video and blog post that claim to give you the hidden golden secret that you can use to win at slots. In facts I saw an ad for this while on Facebook which caused me to create this post. Now I like the casino just as much as anyone else that goes to the casino. The excitement of walking out a big winner is undeniable.

The TRUTH is there is not secret to beating the casino slots. Casino slots these days are run by a computer that decides whether what the slot spin will pay out at literally in a blink of a second. Anyone claiming to have a secret they can sell you to cause you to always win at slots is trying to scam you. There are some facts you can keep in mind that I will share you will.

1. Casino set the machines to pay at a certain percentage. The 1 cent machines will be set at a lower percentage than the quarter machines and dollar machines and so one. That is a absolute fact, which depending on the state you live in you can verify by going to your state gambling board.

2. You need to look at the payout and what you have to put in to win. For example you see a 1 cent machine and might be thinking Jackpot! I mean how much money can you lose on a 1 cent machine. Well you can lose much much more than a quarter machine. I've seen plenty of 1 cent machine where if you want to play the max you can spend $3 - $6 per spin!!! Whereas, you could easily find a quarter machine that will  cost much less per spin.

3. Look at the Jackpot and how much you have to bet to win the jackpots. There are machines out there such as the "Quickhits" slot machine that in order to win the jackpot showing on the screen you must bet the max or you will win a much lesser amount then what the jackpot is showing.

4. Go to the casino with a certain amount of money and stick to it. The casino has ATM machines all over the place. Don't get tempted to take out money once what you brought is gone. Stick to the limit of cash you brought with you.

5. Don't get fooled that you are due to Win! This is a common misconception if you have lost money on a machine or have been on a machine for a while that you are due to win or get a bonus game. This is absolutely false!! The odds do not increase the longer you play, they are the same with every spin.

6. Don't think if you get off a machine and someone else sits down and hits a jackpot that the jackpot would have been yours if you stayed on the machine. Again, slots are run by a computer and the odds of winning do not increase with the more money you have lost or the longer you have been on the machine. In this scenario where you get off the machine someone sits down and hits the jackpot. In order for you to have won that jackpot you would have had to hit the "spin" button at the very "exact" time the other person hit the "spin" button.

The last piece of advice I can give you is go to the casino to have some fun not to win money to pay a bill or take a vacation. There are other games such as blackjack and poker where if you know what your doing the odds are fairly decent.  But Slots is not one of those games you can ever come ahead. I've won $1,000 jackpot and I still have lost more money than I have won at the casino.

To be honest if you want to win some money or try to win something free. There are plenty of sweepstakes and promotions you can enter that will cost you nothing and still will give you a fairly good chance of winning something.

Visit www.sweepstakesfinder.net if you are interested in giving sweepstakes a chance.

I will be posting another blog post on scratcher tickets very soon.
