It was 2015 and I was broke, Christmas was 4 months away and I was starting to sweat. Was I going to be that guy that gets a Christmas present but did not give a Christmas present to anyone. A True Store of stupidity

There are a lot of stories and pictures about the people that work or shop at Walmart. I have a True Story of utter Walmart employee stupidity that has never been told.

Its a short story.

I was about 19 maybe 20 years old. I went with my cousin who was just under 2 years older than me to Walmart. To get what you ask, my favorite soft drink Coca-Cola. You ever have one of those times your just dying for a ship of your favorite drink? Your lips are salivating just at the thought of that delicious Coca-Cola. Well this was one of those times for me. I went to the soda isle with my cousin and to my great disappointment there was no Coke left on the shelf. I thought how can this be this is Wal-Mart they must have more coke in another section, maybe in the warehouse.

I go looking for someone that can answer this very important question for me. I look everywhere and am unable to find a Walmart employee that is free to help Finally I see a Walmart employee in the electronic department that is free to answer my question.

I go up to her and asked in a daze, "Your all out of Coke! Do you have any more Coke anywhere?"


Her Answer "We don't sell Coke here"!! in a very serious face she says to me


I walk away in an utter daze wondering what just happened. How could she don't know that WalMart sells Coke Products. Then it hit me she must have thought I was asking or Cocaine!! I mean if she was saying they don't have Coke in the electronics department a normal individual would say I work in the electronics department I don't know but let me find someone that can help.


But no she tells me they don't sell Coke.  Just Crazy. Yep that's it that's my Walmart story.

A Small Man's Tail

For those who are watching the NBA playoffs you have probably heard of Channing Frye, especially if you are a Cleveland Cavalier's fan. Many a moon ago I met Channing Frye. He attended the same high school I went to in Phoenix Arizona. I was a sophomore when he was a senior.

At the high school before you could stand in line for lunch if you wanted to purchase lunch from the cafeteria you hand to wait in line until the door were opened. Really we didn't wait in line we are all bunched together about ready to brawl in order to get to the front of the line. At the time I was into weight lifting and I wore tight shirts and thought I was a strong guy for 15 years old. I'll never forgot one day in line getting ready to push and shove my way to the front of the line....

It was a sunny and hot day and we could not wait until we could get into the nice and cool air conditioned cafeteria and all of a sudden I realized there was a gigantic shadow all around me morphing my short 5 foot 3 inches stature. I turn around and it was Channing Frye.

You ever have one of the time maybe as a small child when you come across a big adult or maybe your father and you realize, "Man I am Small". Well this was indeed one of those times. Technically I have that feeling everyday but in particular this time.

The doors open to the cafeteria and needless to say I knew when I was beat and moved to the back of the line. Its important to be reminded there is always someone bigger, stronger, faster and smarter than you. Its these experiences that causes us to strive to be better.
